Description
Detects a ChatGPT Enterprise user issuing five or more distinct Google Drive app search queries in a five-minute bucket where at least one query matches sensitive-data themes (payroll, payslip, confidential, payment, NDA, credentials, and similar). Adversaries who abuse a linked Drive connector after session compromise often run rapid multi-term searches to locate high-value files before download or sharing.
Detection logic
Its licence does not clear it for publishing here
Sunturai publishes a detection's own text where the licence it arrived under has been reviewed and permits it, and Elastic License 2.0 has not. The query as its source wrote it, its canonical form and the hash that pins this revision are in the workspace record.

The rule states no platform. This is derived from the 2 ATT&CK techniques it maps to.
Known benign triggers
- HR, legal, finance, or vendor-management workflows that legitimately search Drive for payroll, NDA, or contract terms across several queries. Validate the query values and business context before escalating.
- Power users iterating many related document titles in one session. Raise the distinct-query or sensitive-query thresholds if approved roles remain noisy.
MITRE ATT&CK mappings
0 exclusive techniques. This is coverage no other published rule has; it is not this rule's total technique count.
